About Us
For over seventeen years Hope Again has served the poor, homeless and disenfranchised in the Hollywood area. What began on a shoestring, without the shoestring , in one tiny room off the alley of a church, has grown to encompass a home for women, a home for men and  a safe haven for women with children.

Hope Again was founded in 1992 by Carole Clarke and has grown over the years by assisting those who are trapped in poverty, crime and substance abuse experience God’s love in action, and to find economic, social and spiritual wholeness.  In the fall of 2008 Carole Clark retired and Rev. Ross Lokken assumed the role of the Executive Director.

Thank you for checking out Hope Again! We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) that has brought hope to the hundreds of homeless men and women of the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Our funding comes through churches and individuals that are committed to reaching people with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hope Again is always in need of food to give away. During the cooler weather of the fall please consider dropping by with a bag or two of groceries, our clients would greatly appreciate your generosity. Also we can do the shopping instead, donate online with a memo that it is for food! Finally... Keep Praying for those in need!

In addition to the demand for food services. Hope Again is always in need of clothing and personal hygiene items.  Any donations are greatly appreciated!

Food Closet!

The need for food continues to ran high, up over 40% from just a year ago.  All food drop off donations are greatly appreciated. Hope Again also accepts donations through Acceptiva or PayPal, to support restocking the food closet. Thanks. God is so good. We have never yet run out, though we have come close many times. Thanks for your prayers and assistance.
